Global Sales Director
Devan’s primary role at Charleston Aviation Partners is as Director of Global Sales currently focusing on Advertising and Marketing of CAP's exclusive listings he also is taking the lead on industry market analysis, contract administration, and negotiation. He interacts with clients and various business aviation professionals on a daily basis and works directly with Bill to ensure successful management of multiple projects.
A former United States Navy Midshipman, he was a member of the Varsity Athletes in SEAL Training special warfare preparation program with focus on the diversification of the special warfare force with special emphasis on Varsity Athletes and minority candidates. Leaving the armed services, Devan completed his education at Hampton University graduating at the top of his class with a B.S. Electrical Engineering.
Devan began his professional engineering career with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner where he was on the cutting edge of technical innovation. He then moved into working as a field engineer for Xerox before diversifying his professional growth by exploring the Marketing and Sales field.
Prior to joining the CAP team, Devan put his leadership skills to use as part of the Executive Sales force for private aviation with another firm. Facilitating acquisitions and sales of private jet aircraft, he performed many functions such as generating leads for off-market aircraft, developing off-market aircraft into exclusive listings, compiling the market analysis for potential & current aircraft owners, developing and optimizing aircraft advertising and marketing campaigns as well as working with on-site mechanics, pilots, and/or principals.
