William J. Quinn (Bill) has been advising aircraft owners and operators on the sale and purchase of new and pre-owned aircraft for more than 37 years. Bill has been involved in buying, selling, evaluating, and appraising more than 2500 aircraft valued at more than $14 billion dollars. His strong and extensive background in sales, marketing, aircraft operations and management, deliver more results to Charleston Aviation Partners clients than typical brokers in the industry.
Throughout his proven background of executive leadership in aircraft sales and acquisitions, Bill has worked with corporate flight departments, owners and operators of business aircraft, aviation service organizations and airframe and engine manufacturers. He has also developed strong relationships with aircraft owners and Fortune 500 operators as well as the financial, insurance, and legal communities. Bill’s insight into the financial and business aspects of owning and operating business aircraft combined with his philosophy of exceeding his client’s goals and objectives are the foundation of Charleston Aviation Partners’ success.
Bill is rated as an Airline Transport Pilot with over 6,000 hours of flight time and is type rated in both business jets and helicopters. His aviation career began in the United States Navy and his operating experience ranges from turboprops to heavy jets and helicopters. Bill’s operational background combined with his sales and marketing experience, provides him with a distinct understanding of business aviation.
Bill Quinn is an Accredited Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers and holds an Airline Transport Pilot license with type ratings in both jets and helicopters. He has owned and operated two FAR Part 135 Air Carrier Certificates and was the principal manager and Chief Operating Officer for an FAR Part 125 Air Carrier Certificate. Bill has founded several successful aviation companies including Aviation Management Services (AMS) where he serves as Chairman of the Board.
