Chan brings an extensive background in aircraft operations and management to the CAP team. His 35 years of experience have been instrumental in guiding the company’s technical and operational consulting activities.
During his aviation career, he has directed the maintenance departments of several corporate flight operations, aircraft charter operations and two airline operations. He has an extensive background in scheduling and maintenance and has managed the construction of several commercial aircraft hangar facilities. He also has a proven record of accomplishment and background in FAR Part 91, 121 and 135 operations. He has worked closely with senior management on various litigation related projects and supports the operations aspects of our business by conducting aircraft and records audits for aircraft evaluation and valuation projects. He is rated as an Airline Transport Pilot. His aircraft type ratings are HFB320, CE500 AND CE560XL; he has logged more than 11, 500 hours and is current and qualified in the Cessna Citation 500 series. He is also a licensed Airframe and Power-plant Technician with inspection authorization.
His aviation career began in 1964 with the United States Air Force. In 1969, he earned his Airframe and Power plant license from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
